# Fiara Account and Data Deletion Policy

## 1. Right to Account and Data Deletion
Fiara respects your privacy and your right to request the deletion of your account and personal data. Fiara provides a dedicated **Delete Account** button within the app so that you can initiate account deletion directly.
You can also request account deletion by email if you cannot access the app or have already uninstalled it.
Once your request has been verified and processed, we will delete your account and associated personal data in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.
## 2. How to Delete Your Fiara Account
Fiara provides two ways to request account deletion.
### Option 1: Use the Dedicated Delete Account Button in the App
Fiara includes a dedicated **Delete Account** button that allows you to initiate the deletion of your account directly from within the app.
To request deletion:
1. Open the Fiara app.
2. Navigate to the screen containing the dedicated **Delete Account** button.
3. Tap **Delete Account**.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. Confirm your deletion request and complete any required identity verification.
After your request is verified and processed, your Fiara account and associated personal data will be deleted in accordance with this policy.
### Option 2: Request Account Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the Fiara app or have already uninstalled it, you can request account deletion by emailing:

Please include the following information:
- Your registered email address or phone number associated with your Fiara account.
- Your full name, if applicable.
Providing a reason for deletion is optional. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
For your security, please do not send your password or payment card details.
## 3. Information That Will Be Deleted
When your account deletion request has been verified and processed, we will delete your account and associated personal data where deletion is permitted by applicable law.
This may include:
- **Personal Information:** Your name, email address, phone number, and other personally identifiable information associated with your account.
- **Account Details:** Your account profile, account settings, and associated authentication data.
- **Viewing Activity:** Your watch history, viewing progress, and associated usage information.
- **Watchlists and Preferences:** Your saved titles, watchlists, preferences, and personalized recommendation data.
- **Other Account-Associated Data:** Other personal information associated with your account that is not required to be retained.
## 4. Information That May Be Retained
Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
This may include:
- Financial, tax, invoice, and transaction records required for legal or accounting purposes.
- Information necessary to resolve pending payments, refunds, disputes, or chargebacks.
- Information required to prevent fraud, comply with lawful requests, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We will retain only the information necessary for the applicable purpose and for the required or otherwise permitted retention period. Where appropriate, retained information will be restricted from further use.
## 5. Data Deletion Processing Time
We aim to process verified account deletion requests within **30 days** of verification.
If additional time is required because of exceptional circumstances or applicable legal requirements, we will inform you where required by law.
## 6. What Happens After Account Deletion?
Once your Fiara account has been deleted:
- You will no longer be able to access your deleted account.
- Your deleted watchlists, viewing history, preferences, and other associated data will no longer be available.
- Any remaining subscription benefits or access associated with your account may be lost, subject to applicable law and the terms governing your purchase.
- You may need to create a new account if you wish to use Fiara again.
Account deletion does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refund eligibility will be handled according to the applicable purchase terms and refund rules.
**Important:** Account deletion is intended to be permanent. Please ensure that you want to proceed before confirming your request.
## 7. Uninstalling the Fiara App
Uninstalling the Fiara app from your device does not, by itself, delete your account or personal data stored on Fiara's systems.
To delete your account, use the dedicated **Delete Account** button within the Fiara app or submit a deletion request by email using the contact information provided in this policy.
